Our summer school is located in Dublin city centre, close to all the museums, shopping areas and places of interest. Homestays are generally located in the suburbs and students commute by public transport. Lessons take place in the prestigious Belvedere College, one of Ireland’s most famous private schools. There are 20 X 45 min lessons (15 hours) per week, and students enjoy a full programme of five afternoon and two evening activities, as well as a full day excursion outside Dublin on Saturday.
Homestay Programme
Ages: 14+ (individual bookings)*
Host families provide simple and friendly accommodation, with single or room-sharing options available. Students are placed with families according to their preferences and dietary needs. ISI accommodation staff offer a full support service for students to help with any questions or concerns and are available to meet you directly on-site when required. Staying with a host family is a preferred option for the vast majority of ISI students. All of our host families have been visited by our accommodation team and they are each Garda vetted (police checked).
