Homestay Programme

Ages: 14-17 (individual bookings)*

Our summer school is located in Dublin city centre, close to museums, shopping areas and places of interest. Homestays are generally located in the suburbs and students commute by public transport. Lessons take place in the prestigious Belvedere College, one of Ireland’s most famous private schools. The Homestay Programme includes 15 hours of English tuition per week, afternoon activities according to the weekly programme, two organised evening activities per week and a full-day excursion outside Dublin on Saturday.

Host families provide simple and friendly accommodation, with shared room accommodation included as standard and single room options available on request, subject to availability and supplement. Students are placed with families according to their preferences and dietary needs where possible and subject to availability. ISI accommodation staff offer support for students to help with any questions or concerns and are available to meet students directly on-site when required. Staying with a host family is a preferred option for many ISI students. All of our host families have been visited by our accommodation team and they are each Garda vetted.
