Week 5 at ISI Dublin’s Summer Camp was a perfect blend of classroom learning, outdoor fun, and cultural discovery. With new students joining and familiar faces growing more confident each day, this week delivered another exciting and memorable experience for everyone involved.

English Classes
Every morning, students continued to develop their English through engaging and interactive lessons. Teachers focused on improving communication skills, vocabulary, and grammar, while encouraging confidence and participation in class discussions.
Orientation Walking Tour
We welcomed new students with an orientation walking tour of Dublin. This helped them get to know the city centre, feel more at home, and connect with other students from around the world.
Scavenger Hunt
Students kicked off the week with an exciting scavenger hunt. Exploring the city in teams, they followed clues, worked together, and discovered hidden corners of Dublin while practising their English in a fun and interactive setting.
Sports Sessions
Afternoon sports sessions continued to be a favourite activity. Students enjoyed football, team games, and free play in the park – a great opportunity to stay active, enjoy the outdoors, and build friendships.
Bowling Evenings
Our midweek bowling sessions were full of friendly competition and laughter. Whether scoring strikes or cheering each other on, students had a fantastic time bonding off campus.
Phoenix Park Games
Phoenix Park offered the perfect setting for more outdoor games and sports this week. With its vast green spaces and lively atmosphere, it was a great way for students to relax and recharge after class.
Dublinia Viking Museum
Students visited Dublinia, a museum dedicated to Viking and medieval history. With interactive exhibits and engaging storytelling, students gained insight into Dublin’s rich past while exploring artefacts and recreated environments.
Disco Night – Neon Theme
Friday’s disco was lit up with colour as students came dressed for the Neon Theme night. With glowing outfits, upbeat music, and lots of dancing, the evening was a celebration of fun, friendship, and international vibes.
National Museum of Archaeology
The Archaeology Museum offered a deeper look into Irish history. Students explored ancient artefacts, including gold treasures, bog bodies, and tools from early Celtic and Viking civilisations.
Day Trip to Trim Castle & Hill of Tara
To finish the week, students went on a full-day excursion to Trim Castle and the Hill of Tara. They explored Ireland’s Celtic and Norman heritage while walking in the footsteps of kings and knights. It was a fascinating and scenic day trip into Ireland’s rich past.
Looking Ahead. As we reach the halfway point of the summer, our students continue to grow, connect, and discover something new every day. We look forward to welcoming more students and exploring more of Ireland in the weeks to come at ISI Dublin.
